It is our vision that there will be no more involuntary childlessness in Germany. We see it as our task to support prospective parents in realising their wish to have a child.
We advise and accompany our members on their path to parenthood.
We only recommend selected and quality-checked fertility centres in Germany and Europe, thus ensuring that our members have access to the latest medical findings and best treatment methods.
“We know how challenging the path to parenthood can sometimes be, and what impact this can also have at work.
That is why we have created Onuava, an offer with which companies can better support their employees in this difficult phase of life.”
— Julia & Katharina, Co-Founders Onuava
We are a young, dynamic and fast-growing company. We work with dedication towards realising our vision and thus helping our clients and their employees – our members – to succeed at the same time.
After studying business administration at WHU Koblenz (diploma 2004), Julia worked for many years as a management consultant and as an executive in the financial industry, first in Frankfurt and later in London.
During her work as a consultant, Julia had three children through fertility treatment. She has therefore experienced first-hand the stresses and strains of treatment and what it means to manage infertility treatment alongside a demanding job.
At Onuava, she is responsible for customer relations, contacts with partners and clinics and - together with Katharina - for product development.
Katharina has studied business administration and law. After graduating, she initially spent many years working in the finance department at HUGO BOSS. She lived in New York for several years, from where she managed the finance department for the Americas region, among other things.
After returning to Germany, Katharina then deliberately sought a challenge in the start-up world and then initially worked for the business builder Finleap, where she set up HR and finance processes for Finleap companies. This then led to her eventually spinning out her own startup - KUNO - and building it into a successful and profitable platform business.
At Onuava, Katharina is responsible for all internal processes and workflows, as well as - together with Julia - for product development.
