Description

The Menopause Check helps you better understand hormonal changes during menopause and assess symptoms such as cycle changes,
hot flushes, sleep problems or fatigue with greater clarity.

Relevant hormone levels are analysed from just a few drops of blood collected from home in certified medical laboratories in Germany.

This includes a personal consultation with experienced doctors to professionally discuss your results and help you understand next steps tailored to your needs.

You will also receive 3 months access to the Onuava platform with medically founded information and support across menopause,
hormone balance, prevention, fertility, mental wellbeing and more.

More clarity for this new stage of life.

Who is this test for?
The Menopause Check is suitable for women aged around 40 and above who experience cycle changes,
hot flushes, sleep problems or other symptoms that may be linked to menopause.
What is tested?

Important hormone levels are analysed that may provide insight into hormonal changes during menopause:

  • FSH → marker of hormonal changes during menopause
  • LH → additional value for assessing hormone status
  • Estradiol (E2) → oestrogen level, often decreases during menopause
  • Progesterone → hormone influencing cycle, sleep and wellbeing

All test kits are analysed and validated in certified medical laboratories in Germany.

When is this test useful?
This test may be useful when experiencing first signs of hormonal change, irregular cycles,
hot flushes, sleep problems, or to better understand menopause-related symptoms.
When and how should I take the test?

If you still have a regular cycle, we recommend having your blood drawn ideally between the 2nd and 5th day of your cycle, as key hormone levels can be assessed particularly well during this phase.

Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period.

If you are no longer bleeding or your period has already missed, the blood draw can be done on any day.

What is the Tasso Add-on?

The Tasso Add-on is an optional supplement to your Onuava blood test.
It allows for simple, hygienic, and particularly convenient blood collection at home,
without the need for a traditional finger prick using a lancet.

The Tasso system is compatible with your test kit and can be purchased separately.
